feature-what-to-expect

It’s that time of year again – Fall Parade of Homes is just around the corner, but this year is a little bit different than the last. While we still have many brand new show homes that we’re excited to debut, there are new regulations that have been put in place in order to keep everyone as safe as possible due to concerns regarding COVID-19. Stay tuned as we take you through all the details for Fall Parade of Homes 2020.

Hours of Operation

The Fall Parade of Homes will be on from September 12th, 2020 through to October 10th, 2020. During this time, visitors can attend the show homes during parade hours, or are able to schedule a private viewing with the sales representative outside of the open hours.

Parade of Homes Show Home Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 5-8pm

Saturday & Sunday: 1-5pm

Operational Requirements & Restrictions

In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, please note the following requirements and restrictions:

    • Upon visiting the show home, each visitor must complete and sign an open house pre-screening declaration

This is to verify that the visitor has not tested positive for COVID-19, has not travelled outside of Manitoba under Phase 3 regulations, has not been in contact with someone exhibiting symptoms and has not been exhibiting symptoms themselves.

    • Maintain social distancing requirements of 6’ between persons or parties

There will be markers and signs leading up to the front door of the show home to assist in maintaining a 6’ distance between visitors who are waiting to enter the home. This is in place in order to maintain social distancing requirements.

    • Capacity is limited to a maximum of 6 guests or 2 parties at any time

Capacity in the show homes will be limited to a maximum of 6 guests or 2 parties at any time. The front door will be locked to ensure the limited capacity is maintained, and there will be a sign on the front door with the contact information of our sales representative. Visitors are asked to call the number listed to gain entry into the show home.

    • Masks are mandatory and visitors are required to sanitize their hands

Visitors will be required to sanitize their hands upon entry to the show homes, and there will be a noticeable sign and hand sanitizer available close to the entry in each home. Both staff and visitors are also required to properly wear a mask or face covering. If a visitor does not have a face mask or covering, we can provide a mask, however if they do not wish to wear a mask or face covering, they will not be able to enter the show home.

    • Visits are limited to a maximum of 15-20 minutes per visitor or party

Due to the capacity requirements, open house visits will be limited to a maximum of 15-20 minutes per visitor or party. We encourage anyone who is wanting a longer visit to schedule a private appointment outside of parade hours.

    • Show homes will be sanitized every 2 hours

Our show home staff will be sanitizing all high touch surfaces (door handles, countertops, etc.) every 2 hours, however we do ask that visitors keep touching surfaces in the home to a minimum. Show homes are also deep cleaned on a regular basis.

Finally, we ask that if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or may have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 that you refrain from visiting the show homes.

Online Resources

Due to the current circumstances, we encourage those interested in viewing show homes to check our online resources before attending the home in person. On our website, BroadviewHomesWpg.com, you can view all the show homes we have available. Under each home’s page, you can view photos and floor plans, read about the details of the home, as well as utilize our Matterport 3D tours for every home. This allows you to take a virtual tour of the home, giving you a realistic feel for the home and assisting you in deciding if you’d like to view the home in person.
